These terms apply to the use of this website and to services provided by databoxe, unless a signed project agreement says otherwise. If the two conflict, the signed agreement wins.
1. Agreement
By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
2. Services & scope
We provide software development, mobile app development, UI/UX design, cloud setup and maintenance services. The exact features, timeline and deliverables for each project are defined in a written proposal or statement of work. Work outside that scope is a change request and is estimated separately.
3. Quotes & payment
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
- Fixed-scope projects normally require an advance payment before work begins, with the balance tied to agreed milestones.
- Dedicated team and care plans are billed monthly in advance.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts.
- Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless stated otherwise. Applicable VAT and taxes are added as required by law.
4. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide content, feedback, approvals and account access on time. Delays in these may move the delivery date. You confirm that any material you give us, such as logos, text and images, is yours to use.
5. Intellectual property
After full payment, ownership of the custom source code, designs and deliverables made for your project transfers to you. We keep ownership of our general tools, libraries and know-how that existed before the project. Open-source components remain under their own licences. We may list the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
6. Warranty & support
We fix bugs reported within 30 days of launch that come from our work, at no extra cost. This does not cover new features, changes by third parties, or changes caused by new operating system or app store rules. Ongoing support is available through a care plan.
7. Liability
We work with care, but we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
8. Termination
Either party may end a project with 15 days' written notice. You pay for work completed up to the end date, and we hand over all finished work and source code for which payment has been received.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes will first be discussed in good faith, and if unresolved, will be handled by the courts of Dhaka. Questions about these terms can be raised by calling 01792-288555 or visiting our Uttara office.
